Ausgabe des AJ Bell Great Manchester Run<\/strong> \u00fcber 10 km. <!--more-->Im Rennen der M\u00e4nner war es der Olympiasieger von Tokyo 2020 Barega, der sich 400 m vor dem Ziel aus einem Trio l\u00f6ste und in 27:49 auch auf der Stra\u00dfe seine internationale Klasse demonstrierte. Knapp dahinter lief <strong>Santiago Catrofe<\/strong> (URG) in 27:52 als Zweiter ins Ziel, dann folgte als erster Kenianer <strong>Vincent Ngetich<\/strong> (KEN) in 27:58 auf Platz 3.<\/p>\n<p>Bei den Frauen setzte sich der angehende \u00e4thiopische Langstreckenstar Medina Eisa bald nach dem Start ab und gewann hoch \u00fcberlegen nach 30:42.
